BRICK OVEN RESTAURANTS

My Role: For this project I met with Brick Oven’s Marketing team to discuss their needs for a refresh on their brand perception by locals in Provo. They were concerned that they were perceived as brand meant for an older demographic, so Brick Oven started offering 50% off of pizzas ordered by college students. They have strong loyalty for older generations as they went to Brick Oven during their college years. To combat this issue they wanted a fresh take on what pizza looks like to a Millenial/Gen Z. My contribution was my interpretation on how easily pizza can be incorporated into events that are already happening in a college students life. Generally college students are really creative when it comes to fun activities or dates. In a college students life there aren’t many fun things going on, so they have to force great ideas that are affordable. Students are worried about saving money, but Brick Oven’s discount and the convenience of pizza feeding many was the perfect way to tie it into the activities (IE: ham-mocking, dates, game nights, and fire pits). I created the idea, filmed, and edited the project on my own.
